Māia Collective · Aotearoa
Empowering wāhine. Strengthening whānau. Transforming generations.
At Māia Collective, we walk alongside wāhine as they rebuild confidence, grow in resilience, and move towards lives grounded in purpose, wellbeing, and hope.

Our kaupapa runs deeper than learning new skills
Through shared experiences, gentle guidance, and authentic connection, we help wāhine rediscover who they are, what they carry, and the incredible potential already within them. We believe every woman holds immense mana – sometimes all she needs is a safe space, steady support, and the right community to unlock it.
This journey is personal, but the transformation is collective. When a woman grows, her whānau shifts with her – strengthening relationships, reshaping systems within the home, and creating foundations that reach far beyond today. The impact touches our tamariki, our mokopuna, and generations yet to come.
Vision
Collective flourishing, intergenerational wellbeing, and transformational futures.
Mission
To cultivate a kaupapa Māori ecosystem of mana enhancing initiatives that strengthen connection, grow leadership, nurture wellbeing, and advance equity for wāhine, whānau, and communities.
Our Why
We believe wellbeing is both interconnected and intergenerational.
Collective wellbeing cannot be achieved unless wellbeing exists across the wider ecosystem. When one person flourishes, the collective is strengthened. When whānau flourish, communities thrive. When communities thrive, future generations inherit stronger foundations from which to flourish. This understanding sits at the heart of everything we do.
Wawata & Moemoeā · Our aspirations and dreams
We aspire to a healthy and flourishing Aotearoa where collective wellbeing is experienced across generations – where wāhine realise their aspirations, whānau are connected and thriving, and future generations inherit wellbeing, belonging, and hope.
Through connection to whānau, whenua, culture, and one another, we contribute to an ecosystem where everyone can flourish.
Our ecosystem
An ecosystem of mana enhancing initiatives.

Who we walk with
Every wāhine, every season.
We walk alongside wāhine from all stages and seasons of life – young māmā, solo māmā, women navigating big transitions, those seeking healing, and those simply ready for a fresh start. Some come to strengthen their wellbeing, some to grow in confidence, and others to step toward education, employment, or reconnection with themselves and their whānau.
No matter the pathway, every wāhine is met with care, community, and a kaupapa that honours her story. We don't lead from the front or push from behind – we walk beside her, every step of the way.
